MAX’S SANDWICH SHOP
It’s official – sandwiches are having a moment. A big, maximalist moment, with fillings that burst forth from focaccia, ooze saucily from sourdough, and cram chewy ciabatta, piled high and defying gravity. And few have done more to spark the sandwich revolution than Max’s Sandwich Shop, the cult Finsbury Park favourite known for its gravity-defying creations.
On the lunch menu throughout November: a baguette filled with our legendary rotisserie chicken, celeriac remoulade and a glorious heap of crispy pommes alumettes. Juicy, creamy, salty, crunchy – this is god-tier sandwich craftsmanship.
Join us for the launch party at Café François Market Bar, where we’ll toast the maestro himself with a line-up of Champagne Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka cocktails, alongside snacks to match — including Merguez pigs in blankets with pickled walnut mayo.
If you can’t make it to the party, don’t despair — the Max’s Sandwich will be available on the Café François lunch menu from 12pm–4pm daily until 30th November.
